South New Milford Baptist Church has been an integral part of Pastor Ray and Lisa Mitchell’s life for many years. Lisa grew up in our church and they met here in the Spring of 1983 and were married the following year. They celebrated 30 years of marriage in June (2014). 

God has blessed them with 3 grown children (Felicia, Katie, and Tim [Melissa]) and two Grandchildren (David and Madison).

Pastor Mitchell has the desire to reach out to people in our community and to welcome them into our church where people from all walks of life come to know God through a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He also desires to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus and in their knowledge of the Bible in order that they will want to become life-long followers of Jesus. 

Pastor Mitchell believes that Jesus offers to His followers the way to the most satisfying life possible. This is the life that we want the faith community of South New Milford Baptist Church to experience!
